My sensitive nervous system burned out — because I didn’t yet have the tools to regulate it.

Early in my career I worked for years in demanding leadership and coaching roles in the corporate world. The cumulative mental and nervous system strain eventually showed up in my sleep, recovery, and performance. Without the ability to regulate my own nervous system and mental states, things progressed into exhaustion, moderate depression, and a temporary loss of work capacity. Alcohol also became a problem.

That’s when I had to stop. Something had to change. The search for balance began — and more concretely, the practice of learning how to guide the body, nervous system, mind, and the ego toward something better.
The path wasn’t straightforward. But piece by piece, I found solutions that actually worked. Slowly, balance and inner peace were rebuilt. Breathing became a central tool for influencing the nervous system, recovery, and mental state.
I have studied and worked with leading international experts including Patrick McKeown, Misha Sakharoff, Wim Hof and Harri Gustafsberg — but above all I have tested and applied everything in practice, in my own body and with thousands of clients.

From this experience I developed the Breathingman ABBA Method, which helps clients improve their breathing and stress management in a measurable and effective way. My strength as a coach is the ability to quickly identify what matters and find the key leverage points for real change. My work is insightful and honest — combining acceptance and presence with clear, grounded guidance toward solutions.

Individual coaching happens online via Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or face-to-face in Tampere Finland. I offer following service types:

All programmes starts with an initial assessment of your breathing and individual situation including relevant tests. From there we work to correct what needs correcting. My coaching is most beneficial if your breathing feels shallow, effortful, or tense — or if you experience stress, fatigue, brain fog, mild anxiety, panic attacks, snoring, sleep apnoea, or asthma. Also ideal if you want to manage stress effectively in your every day life or want to workwith yourself more deeply. Most customers want to optimise theirr breathing and stress management skills to support good sleep, recovery, health, performance and more balansed everyday life.

– First session lasts 2 hours, including assessment, tests, and the start of your personal programme
– Follow-up sessions last 1.5 hours
– You have WhatsApp contact with Arttu throughout the programme between sessions to make adjustments
– Guidelines and video materials are provided as you progress
